Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran dan kekuatan karya sastra dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pustaka (library research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Integrasi karya sastra dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia melalui Kurikulum Merdeka memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan, termasuk peningkatan kemampuan bahasa, pemikiran kritis, kecerdasan emosional, dan kesadaran budaya siswa. Karya sastra, seperti cerita pendek dan puisi, memberikan konteks emosional yang mendalam, memperkaya pengalaman belajar, dan mendorong keterlibatan siswa. Melalui pendekatan yang berpusat pada siswa, kurikulum ini memungkinkan eksplorasi karya sastra yang relevan dengan minat dan konteks budaya siswa, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan motivasi dan kreativitas. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, kesiapan guru, dan keragaman bahasa harus diatasi untuk memastikan implementasi yang efektif. Kolaborasi antara pendidik, siswa, dan masyarakat sangat penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung pengembangan karakter dan kemampuan bahasa siswa secara menyeluruh.
